It was at Abbey Road Studios The Beatles recorded the UK segment for a programme called "Our World". This programme was the first worldwide live television satellite linkup.  "Our World". was a collaboration of  19 countries, each  country providing its own special segment for the programme. The UK contribution was a live recording of The Beatles song "All You Need Is Love"."Our World" was transmitted to 24 countries with a total audience of over 400 million viewers.

To give the recording studio a party atmosphere The Beatles had the studio decorated with garlands, streamers and balloons, they also invited some of their friends along including.
